AIIMS PG 2024 exam is to be conducted in the third week of November 2020 for MD/MS programme and in the first week of November 2022 for DM/ M.Ch/ Fellowship. AIIMS PG 2024 Application Form
Candidates can check all the details about AIIMS PG 2024 Application Form from the below given section:
- AIIMS PG Basic Registration (January session) will start from last week of June 2020 for MD/MS/M.Ch/ DM/ MDS. For DM/Fellowship/M.Ch/MD (Hospital Administrator), and for other courses it will start from first week of September 2020.
- The registration process known as PAAR is mainly divided into following two steps – Basic registration & Final registration.
- Both basic and final registration is to be done in online mode.
- Students can edit the details and images uploaded in the application only during the correction period.
- Students have to fill up the basic details and upload images. For the final registration, applicants have to enter their qualification, make option of exam city & pay application fee.

How to Apply for AIIMS PG 2024
Candidates can follow the steps given below in order to apply for AIIMS PG 2024:
- Visit the AIIMS official website.
- Click on the ‘registration’ link.
- Registration process can be divided into following types– Basic and Final registration.
- Click on the “New Registration” tab and proceed.
- Fill all the asked details such as personal and basic details etc. in the registration form.
- Read the points mentioned in the declaration carefully and click on the registration button.
- A confirmation message and email will be sent to the mobile number and email ID provided at the time of registration.
- A new information page carrying all the information related to the candidate will appear on the screen.
- Candidates are advised to check and verify the filled details and then proceed further.
- Now candidates can start the final registration process.
- In this, candidate have to fill the education details and choice of exam centre in the application form.
- Upload signature (20 to 100 kb), left thumb impression (20 to 100 kb), and photograph (50 to 100 kb) in the prescribed i.e. jpg/jpeg format.
- Now candidates have to pay the application fees as per their categories.
- At last candidates are advised to download and print the duly filled application form.
AIIMS PG 2024 Application Correction
If while filling the application form, any candidate made any mistakes in the details and uploaded image and want to edit it, then such candidates can make correction in the application form. Candidates can make correction only when the correction window is open. The correction facility is supposed to be started from the First week of September to second week of September 2020 for MD/MS/ M.Ch (6 years)/DM (6 years)/MDS.
Students can check their application status after completion of application process after which they can make correction in the details.
Authority will not accept incomplete or incorrect details in the application form so candidates must confirm all entered details before its submission.
AIIMS PG 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are advised to check the AIIMS PG Eligibility criteria before applying for the exam:
For MD/ MS/ M.Ch/ DM/ MDS Course:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have MBBS degree to apply for MS/ MD and must have passed BDS degree for MDS programme from a recognized board or university by MCI/ DCI.
- Qualifying Marks: Candidates must have secured the degree with minimum of 55% marks (ST/SC candidates must have 50% marks).
- Training/ Internship: Interested applicant must have completed 12 months in training/internship (before 30 January 2024) to apply for the exam.
For M.Ch/ DM/ MD (Hospital Administrator) Course:
- Qualifying Exam: Applicant must have MS/ MD degree or DNB degree from a recognized board or university approved by MCI.
- Age Limit: Authority has set the upper age limit for the applicant as 35 years as on 01 January 2024. However, candidates from OBC category will be given relaxation of 3 years age (5 years for ST/SC category candidates).
Foreign Nationals/ OCI Eligibility:
Foreign candidates can apply for seats in “Sponsored category” for MS/ MD/ MDS courses.
Such candidates have to send registration slip to AIIMS through diplomatic channel before the last date of online registration set by authority.
AIIMS PG 2024 Admit Card
AIIMS PG 2024 Admit Card for 6 year courses will be released in the last week of May 2020. Candidates can download the admit card in online mode from the official website of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
How to Download AIIMS PG 2024 Admit Card?

- Exam Mode: Online mode i.e. Computer Based Test.
- Types of Questions: Multiple choice type questions.
- Number of Questions: Total 90 questions (for MDS) and total 200 questions (for MS/MD) in the exam.
- Language Medium: Question paper will be in English Language.
- Subjects: For MDS, questions will be asked from the subjects taught at BDS level and from MBBS level for MD/MS courses.
- Time Duration: 90 minutes (for MDS) & 180 minutes (for MS/MD).
- Total Marks: 90 marks (for MDS) and total 200 marks (for MD/MS).

AIIMS PG 2024 Result (January Session) is to be announced online on the website in the fourth week of November 2020 for MD/ MS/ M.Ch/ DM. The result of DM/ Fellowship/ M.Ch/ MD (Hospital Administrator) course, the result is supposed to be released in the second week of November 2020.
Candidates can check their result by login using their id and password. Candidates will be shortlisted for further admission process after the release of the merit list.
AIIMS PG 2024 Cut Off
The AIIMS PG 2024 Cut Off is the minimum marks that a candidate must secured to qualify the exam. Cut off will be released online on the website for various categories. Cut off depends on various factors such as difficulty level of exam, no of appearing students, total available seats, etc.
General category candidates must have secured 50% marks; ST/ SC must have 40% & for OBC candidate must have secured 45% marks. Only those candidates who will score more that cut off marks to be eligible for counselling.
AIIMS PG 2024 Counselling
Only AIIMS PG qualified candidates an attend the counselling, For which candidate have to register online and he/she can make choice of programme & institution and lock choices. For admission in MD/ MS/ M.Ch/ DM courses, the online counselling will be organized tentatively in first week of December 2020.
The Counselling process will be organised in following rounds – Mock Round, which is Round 1, Round 2 & Open Counselling. For July session, the counselling session for MD/ MS/ M.Ch/ DM will start from the third week of May 2024.
In counselling, authority will verify the documents of qualified candidates. All the documents will be verified at the allotted AIIMS institute.
