WBJEE 2024 Application Form
Interested candidates must check the following important points related to WBJEE 2024 Application Form:
- The WBJEE 2024 registration form will be available from the third week of December 2020.
- The WBJEE application process is divided into the following steps – Registration, application form filling up, uploading of images (as per prescribed format and size), registration fee payment and printing of confirmation page.
- Candidates must have a valid and active mobile number and email id for filling the form.
- Candidate must take care while filling details in the application form. However, if by mistake any candidate have fill the incorrect details, then he/she can make correction when the authority opens the correction window.

WBJEE 2024 Application Fee
After filling all the details in the WBJEE application form, candidates have to pay the WBJEE registration fee which is Rs. 500 for all category candidates.
Mode of Payment:
The WBJEE application fee can be paid thorough online or offline mode.
- In Online mode via debit card, credit card & net banking.
- In Offline mode through E-challan of Allahabad bank.
How to apply for WBJEE 2024?
Given below are the steps that candidates can follow to apply for WBJEE 2024 exam:
- Visit the WBJEE official website which is wbjeeb.nic.in and click on the link displaying “WBJEE 2024 Registration”.
- For registration, candidates have to enter personal details like name, date of birth, contact number, Email ID and submit it.
- Exam registration number and password will be sent by the authority on the registered contact number and Email ID.
- Log in again to fill the WBJEE Application form 2024.
- After filling all the details asked in the WBJEE application form, candidates have to upload their domicile certificate, category, PwD status along with the scanned photograph and signature.
- After uploading the documents, candidates have to pay the WBJEE application fee using any of the available mode.
- At last, candidates must print the duly filled application form for future use.
WBJEE 2024 Application Form Correction
Authority will provide the WBJEE 2024 application form correction facility tentatively from the Last week of January 2024. Candidates who have successfully applied and paid the application fee can edit or modify the application form.
NOTE : Candidates cannot make changes in primary registration data including name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, date of birth.
WBJEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Given below is course-wise WBJEE 2024 Eligibility criteria, that every candidate must check before applying for the WBJEE exam:
General Requirements:
- Nationality: Only Indian Candidates can apply for the exam.
- Age Limit: Interested candidates must be of 17 years as on 31 December 2024. Applying candidates must have his/her date of birth on or before 31 December 2004.
- Upper Age Limit: There is no upper age limit set by the Board for various courses. However, for marine engineering, candidate must have upper age of 25 years as on 31 December 2024.
Qualification Eligibility For Engineering Courses:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed/appearing in class 12 or its equivalent exam recognized by the Central or State Government institution.
- Qualifying Percentage & Subjects: Candidate must have passed class 12 with Physics & Mathematics as main subjects and any one subject from Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science & Computer Application. Interested candidates must have 45% marks (Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD categories must have 40% marks) in the qualifying subjects.
- English: Applicants must have passed English at class 12 with minimum 30% marks.
Eligibility Criteria for Pharmacy Courses:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed/appearing in class 12 or its equivalent from the recognized board or university.
- Qualifying Percentage & Subjects: Candidates must have Physics & Chemistry as mandatory subjects in class 12 and one subject from Biotechnology, Mathematics, Biology, Computer Science and Computer Application. Such candidates must have 45% marks (General) & 40% marks for other reserved category candidates.
- English Subject: Candidates must have qualified English subject in class 12 with at least 30% marks.

WBJEE 2024 Exam Pattern
Given below is the exam pattern of WBJEE 2024 that candidates must check to know more about WBJEE exam:
- Exam Mode: Offline mode i.e. Pen-Paper Based Test.
- Type of Questions: Multiple choice questions.
- Papers: WBJEE question paper is divided into two papers, i.e. Paper I – Mathematics and Paper II – Physics & Chemistry.
- Shift: Exam will be conducted in two shifts – Morning shift & Afternoon shift.

WBJEE 2024 Answer Key
WBJEE Board will release the WBJEE answer key in the first week of May 2024. Candidates can download the WBJEE Answer Key in online mode from the official website of the conducting authority.
After downloading of answer key, candidates can challenge the answer key if any mistake is found in it. Taking all the challenges under consideration, authority will release the final answer key tentatively from the third week of May 2024.
WBJEE 2024 Result
WBJEE 2024 Result will be declared in the fourth week of May 2024. Candidates can check their result from the official website. The result will be available in the form of WBJEE rank card which consist of candidate’s ranks, component scores & total score in both papers. For downloading the result, candidate have to login using application number and password obtained at the time of registration.

WBJEE 2024 Counselling
WBJEE 2024 Counselling will be held in May 2024. Authority will conduct the counselling in online mode. The conducting board will release the course-wise & institute wise seats list in online mode for the counselling purpose. Only the shortlisted candidates will be eligible for participate in WBJEE counselling.
Authority will verify the documents of the qualified candidates at the time of counselling. Such candidates have to report to the institute allotted to them to complete their admission procedure.
